Henrietta B. O’Brien, 89, Schofield passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born October 20, 1936 in Mineral Point, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Schweitzer) Mick.

For many years Henrietta worked at Federal Mogul in Schofield. She also was a waitress at Gulliver’s in Rib Mountain for many years and enjoyed working with the people and staff there.

Some of her favorite pastimes included spending summers on Lake Tomahawk, crocheting, getting into Packer pools, taking an occasional trip to the casino, bowling and spending time with the girl’s birthday group.

Survivors include her children, Mary Clark, Texas, Randy (Teri) O’Brien, Arizona and Jeff O’Brien, Schofield, three grandchildren, Ryan (Alyssa) Clark, Cory O’Brien and Nicole Slowikowski, four great grandchildren Siara, Aurora, Kyan and Andriella and numerous nieces and nephews. Henrietta is further survived by her sisters-in-law, Eileen Mick and Joanne Mick, a brother-in-law, Patrick “Gary” (Betty) O’Brien and her dear and special friends, Michael and Jill Nezworski, affectionately known as “Moms Earth Angels” by family.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin, her former husband, Francis and numerous siblings.

At Henrietta’s request no formal services will be held. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
