Henry Robert Bianchetti died on January 11, 2026. Born on April 25, 2007 to Matt and Ryan Bianchetti and big brother Liam, his arrival was met with joy, love and gratitude. Henry is also survived and beloved by his grandparents, Robert and Mary Bianchetti and James and Diane Ehrmann; and uncles, Chris Bianchetti and Brett Ehrmann as well as a large extended family.
Successfully earning the IB Diploma, Henry graduated from Robinson Secondary School in May of 2025 and attended the University of Virginia this past fall, where he was studying engineering. He was a member of the competitive Solar Car team, working to design a steering stop for the Brakes and Steering sub-team. He also discovered a passion for working out with his brother and friends and started a new hobby, rock climbing.
Henry loved competition, from Little League All-Star to recreational ice hockey, family game nights, escape rooms, pickleball with his friends, achieving high marks in his classes, battling friends in mobile games and competing in professional e-sports for his favorite game, Brawl Stars. Henry even created online content about the Brawl Stars games he played, amassing over two thousand subscribers and videos that enjoyed more than 214,000 views.
Henry treasured spending time with his friends: sledding, camping, hanging in cars eating take-out, studying together and whatever else they did both here and at UVA. He enjoyed helping at the St. Mary of Sorrows Food Pantry and making sandwiches for Martha's Table. At home, he could be found talking and laughing with his brother; watching mysteries and silly videos with his parents; helping his mom with tech support and debating about hypotheticals; chatting about food, video games and coding projects with his dad; and cuddling with his treasured Tibetan Terrier, Calvin.
We will forever miss Henry and will always remember his determination, humor, intelligence, enthusiasm, silliness and ready empathy.
In lieu of flowers, donations to either of the following in Henry's memory are welcome.
