Henry “Hank” Budd, born on September 26, 1936, and passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the age of 89.
Hank was born in Broken Bow, Nebraska. He served six years with the National Guard and retired from Allied Chemical. Hank was a member of Family of Faith Church, and volunteered for 15 years with Campers on Missions. Hank loved to fish, being around family and friends and serving with his church family.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 71 years, Joyce Johnson Budd; parents, Gerald and Willamine Budd; son, Kenny Budd (Cindy); daughter, Sharon Rademacher (John); siblings, Loyd Budd, Gary and Orma Budd, Willis Budd, and Joan and George Sorenson.
Hank is survived by his daughters, Peggy Juarez (Joe) and Kim Haws (Tim); son, Chuck Budd; sister, Betty Hauger (Bob); brother, James Budd; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge on Saturday, December 20, 2025, beginning at 9:30 AM until servicesare held at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
