Henry R. Everts, Sr., of Deerfield Lane passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Hudson Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Albany. He was 86.
Born in Coleville (Town of Saratoga) on July 16, 1939, son of the late Silas and Rose (Hoffman) Everts. He is the husband of Marion A. (Goodrich) Everts.
Henry worked as a Steeplejack Painter for the IBPAT Union in Troy, then of Albany. He ran his own autobody shop in Stillwater for over 10 years. Always active, Henry was a member of the D.E. LaDow Steam and Hose Company of Mechanicville. In earlier years he enjoyed hunting and boating.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Marion, include their children, Marion A. Wagar (Steve), Henry R. (Julie) Everts, Jr., and David L. Everts, his grandchildren, April (Jeremy) Sherman, Julie (Scott) DeMarco, Kristelle (Aaron) Everts-Muzzi as well as his great grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, Kyle, Kaitlyn, Parker, Porter and Sawyer. He is also survived by a step brother George Patenaude, his cousin Bob Everts and his dear friends Nicole and Jean.
He is predeceased by his grandson, Kyle Wagar, brothers Milford Everts and David Everts, his step siblings and his canine companion Caesar.
Services for Mr. Everts will be private and at the convenience of his family with burial in Stillwater Union Cemetery, Stillwater.
