Henry was born on March 31st, 1957 and passed away on
March 22nd, 2025 at the age of 67Henry Jay Frisbie, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on March 22, 2025, at the age of 67. Jay was born on March 31, 1957, in McAlester, Oklahoma. When he was five his family moved to Austin, TX for a few years and then settled in Houston. Texas. In 1980 his parents built a house on Lake Conroe, where Jay had many great memories.
Jay had a deep love for the outdoors and adventure. He found joy in camping, boating, water skiing, fishing, cherishing the time spent in nature and sharing moments of laughter with family and friends. He was also an avid bowler. His faith was also an important part of his life, and he was a devoted member of Mission Bend UMC where he assisted in the fourth-grade class.
In his later years, Jay was a resident of the West Oaks Nursing and Rehab center where he continued to share his warmth and kindness with those around him. He especially enjoyed playing bingo.
He is survived by his sister, Sandi Richardson, and her husband, Steve, along with his cherished nieces and nephews: Sheryl Kohl and her husband, Matt, with their sons, Miles and Cody; Doug Blount and his wife, Chris, with their daughters, Mary, Abby, and Megan; Jennifer MacKaron and her husband, Nicholas, with their children, Joshua, Emmalynn, Graceanna, Gavin, and Avaleigh; Cynthia Balzen; Shawna Cano and her daughter, Bella; Keri Cano and her daughter, Lana. Jay was predeceased by his parents, Jay and Louise Frisbie, and his sisters, Kathy Alford and Jan Cano. His family will hold his memory close to their hearts, honoring the love he shared throughout his life.
Jay will be cremated, and his remains will be spread over his parents' adjoining graves in Conroe, Texas, a final resting place that reflects his deep connection to family.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Pastor Calvin Harris of Allstar Hospice for his kind support and assistance during this time. Also, to Melisa Ballester, Hannah Rudder and Greg Prunty and all of the staff at West Oaks Nursing and Rehab.

After we lost our parents, he took my sister and me in without hesitation. He gave us a place to land and tried to guide us the best way he knew how. We were all a little bit of a mess, but we figured things out together. He tried teaching Keri and me how to "adult"-how to stand on our own, how to find humor in hard moments, and how to make a damn good plate of barbecue.

I´ll always remember our crazy road trips-somehow, we always found ourselves at a casino. And every time we talked, without fail, he asked about Bella. Every. Single. Time. I´m pretty sure once she was born, she became the favorite.

He loved being "Grandpa" to Bella, loved going on road trips, fishing, winning at bingo (or at least claiming he did), and stirring up just enough trouble to make things interesting.

His humor, warmth, and big-hearted spirit are going to be missed more than words can say.

Thank you for everything, Uncle Jay.
