Henry Dell Grierson, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 63. He was born on September 19, 1962, in San Diego, California. Henry was known for his compassionate nature, sense of humor, and spirited but straightforward personality.
He was devoted to his partner of 27 years, Frank Denham. Together, they shared a loving home and a joyful life, including time spent exploring the beautiful shores of St. Pete-Clearwater, Florida, with their beloved dogs Holly, Elle, and Ruca.
Henry's entrepreneurial spirit led him to work in the medical field and business, including investing in and managing a Senior Helpers franchise to provide in-home support and care for seniors.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Louise Grierson, his sister, Anna Lou Mullins, and his brother, Tim Grierson. He is survived by his sister, Lucy Holman, and his brothers, Greg Grierson and Tommy Grierson, as well as nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the dedicated nurses and staff at Hillcrest Village Nursing Home in Jeffersonville, Indiana, especially Lou and Curtis, for their care and compassion. We will be forever grateful to his lifelong friend, Marsha Gardner, and his friend and mentor, Roger Hogland.
The family will host a private celebration of Henry's life at a later date.
