Henry Hinkle Obituary
Lloyd was a 1968 graduate of Union High School. He served in the Army Reserves for 4 years and was discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He worked for the Monroe County Board of Education as a bus driver for 15 years. Additionally, he served as President of Monroe County School Service Personnel Association for several years and served on the WVSSPA Executive Committee in Charleston for several years. Lloyd loved all sports, but especially loved NASCAR. He loved his family and will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Sean Hinkle; and daughter-in-law, Kendra Hinkle.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Brenda Ratliff Hinkle; son, Michael Travis Hinkle of Union, WV; stepson, Steven McMahan and wife Toby of Wayside, WV; guardian son, Lane Gregory of Lindside, WV; grandchildren, Sarah Grace McMahan and Nicholas McMahan and wife Sydney; great grandson, Ashton McMahan; sister, Terry Hinkle Elmore and husband Calvin of Ronceverte, WV; and several other extended family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00PM on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the Crimson Springs Church in Zenith, WV, with Pastor Jim Rogers officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00PM until time of services on Sunday at the church.

Lloyd you touched so many lives , my dad and your mom were brother and sister , I have fond memories of when we were young playing baseball behind the house never failed we always wound up breaking or at least cracking a window pain in the basement door . Not on purpose but seemed we had the magic touch !!! Other fond memories of our families together ,especially remember when dad and Ant Edith were older Aunt Edith made the best biscuits and gravy and would apologize to my dad Saying " Harding I´m sorry I didn´t make the biscuits can´t do that anymore but these are pretty good ,from the store ,they certainly were , We were blessed to have the parents we had , our families and grew up when we did . Expect to see you again cuzz in our heavenly home ! So sorry Brenda Travis , Terry and family , God bless
