A rosary service will be held at 9:15am on Saturday, followed by visitation from 9:30am until the time of service.
Henry Donald Janezich was born on November 13, 1929 on the home farm to Anton Sr. and Mary (Hegler) Janezich. He was raised on the farm, received his education at McKinley School in Gorman, and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1948. After completing his education, Henry continued to work on the farm with his father. He was united in marriage to Shirley G. Lindner on May 30, 1958, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greenwood. He continued farming until becoming employed with Clark Electric in June of 1967. He worked as an appliance service repairman until retiring in January of 1992. Henry continued to live on the farm until his death.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where he was very active, serving as a eucharistic minister and usher. Henry was also a past chairman for the Town of Hendren, and served on the board for many years at Dairyland Power.
He had many interests, but especially loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, making fishing rods, fly tying, gardening, antiques, going to auctions, being in the woods, and spending time with his family and friends. Henry touched the lives of many with his time and talent.
Henry is survived by his four children: Bruce Janezich of Willard, Sandy (Loren) Mackie of Richlands, NC, Gail (Tom) Kelble of Plover, WI, Brian (Marie) Janezich of Winona, MN; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
