LAWHORN, Henry fondly known as Barry by his friends and family, passed away on October 11, 2025.

Son of the late John and Venia Lawhorn.

Brother of Larry Lawhorn, Danny (Bonnie) Lawhorn and Daryl Lawhorn.

Loving uncle to Kiesha Ozevin, Nickie (Buddy) Moore and Stephanie Lawhorn.

Dearest friend to Dewey (Watha) Roark, Mike (Michelle and family) Finn, Stacy and Bella Goedde, The Valentino family and many more.

Barry is preceded in death by his late grandson Jarret and leaves behind a daughter Tonya, Granddaughter Jamie (Brent) and two great granddaughters; Averie and Aria.

Barry is best known for founding and promoting events such as The Meanest Man Contests, The Battle of the Bands and Mud Wrestling. Barry held events at Godfathers Sports Bar which he co-owned and operated while it was open and also would hold some of the events at Strickers Grove. For many years Barry was a beloved driver, delivering pizzas for a local LaRosas Pizzeria.

Friends and family can stop by on Thursday October 16, 2025 to the American Legion Post 513 (7947 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, 45231) from 6-8 PM to pay respects and share stories. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at Vinces Other Place (7701 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, 45231)
