Henry Leeman Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 19, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Henry Allan Leeman III, age 67, of Overton, Texas. Henry passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Orange, New Jersey, Henry moved to Texas later in life to pursue new adventures, a move that reflected his deep love for exploration and change. He spent much of his career as a truck driver, a profession that allowed him to see the open road and share stories with many. A dedicated family man, Henry cherished the time spent with his daughters and grandsons.

He is survived by his three daughters, Maggie Leeman, Erin Leeman, and Kelsy Stith; his grandsons, Jackson and Maverick; as well as numerous extended family and friends. His legacy of love and devotion to his family will live on in them.

An avid outdoorsman, Henry found joy in the simple things-hunting, fishing, and embracing the beauty of nature. Whether it was casting a line in a quiet lake or hiking through the woods, he always sought the serenity that nature provided. His passion for the outdoors was contagious, and his spirit will live on in the memories he shared with those who spent time with him in the great outdoors.

Henry's laugh, storytelling, and kindness will be missed by all who knew him. His family and friends will forever carry him in their hearts as they celebrate the life of a devoted father, grandfather, and friend.

A celebration of life will be held on August 16 at 11243 FM 726 Gilmer, TX around 3pm. Friends and family are welcome to join us as we remember and honor Henry's remarkable life.
