Rich and family my deepest sympathies

I have known Karen for over 50 years. Our husbands went through pilot training together in Oklahoma. We became fast friends. We share the same wedding Anniversary. Karen and Rich have 3 girls and Doug and I have 3 boys.
The Air Force sent us in different directions but we kept in touch.
Her passing is such a shock. The last time I spoke with her she was doing well. Karen has been on my mind this week. Now I know why. Wished I had called.
God Bless you my friend.

Karen invited me to go to the Air Force Academy Ball in Colorado and wanted me to come and live with her. I went and will never forget the experience. It was such a blessing. Did not live with her because I. decided I wanted to go in the military. Which is the best thing I ever did. If she would not have invited me I probably would have never gone in. She was such a blessing to me.
