Henry Minach Obituary

Henry was born April 11, 1922 in Prince George, VA to John Minach and Mary Kossuth. He attended school in Prince George, VA. In September of 1942 he enlisted into the United States Army and served his country during World War II. He was then honorably discharged in February of 1946. Henry met and married the love of his life Thelma Lee Waldrop on June 11, 1945 in Deming, NM. They were married for 75 years until her passing in 2020. Henry was a longtime member of the Ninth Street Church of Christ and was a farmer for Red Mountain for many years. Henry will be deeply missed by his loved ones.
He is survived by his 2 children Lucille Smallwood and Tim Minach; 5 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Henry was preceded in death his parents John and Mary Minach; his spouse, Thelma Minach; 2 brothers, Paul Minach and Ben Minach; as well as a sister, Irene Voda.
A viewing for Henry will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 3 to 6 o'clock in the afternoon at Baca's Funeral Chapel. A graveside service will follow on Friday, April 25, 2025 at 10 o'clock in the morning at Mountain View Cemetery.
