Henry J. Musial

Woodstock Valley – Henry J. Musial, 92, of Hawkins Rd., died Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Day Kimball Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the loving husband of the late Catherine Musial. Born in Willimantic, he was the son of the late Henry and Victoria Musial.
Henry was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean War and was honorably discharged on February 18, 1953.
Henry worked as a truck driver and diesel mechanic for over 40 years with most of this career at Field Concrete then Charles S Bowen Inc. Henry enjoyed collecting things, especially tools. He and his wife Cathy enjoyed travelling the world during their 40-year marriage. He also took pride in his yard and found most enjoyment being on his tractor.
Always good natured with a smile, he was friendly to all and easy to start a conversation with. He was always available to help family or a friend out.
Henry is survived by his children, Randall Musial and his wife Nancy, Beverly Musial, and Terry Musial all of Chaplin; his stepchildren, Jon Frost and his wife, Liisbet of Woodstock Valley; Jill Owens and her husband, Michael of Maine; his nephew, David Sherman of Eastford; his first wife, Alice Musial of Chaplin; as well as his grandchildren, Joshua Latour of Webster, MA, Madison Frost of Wallingford, CT and Harrison Frost of Woodstock Valley. He was predeceased by his sister, Nellie Sherman
