Patricia Ann Henry, age 82, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025, surrounded by love and cherished memories that will live on forever.

Born on January 6, 1943, Patricia devoted her life to learning, teaching, and nurturing others. As both a teacher and a librarian, she earned a bachelor's and a master's degree. She inspired countless students and friends with her love of books, curiosity, and lifelong passion for knowledge.

Patricia was a long-time member of the Rockwall Literary Club, serving on the Board from 2019 to 2024 as Second Vice President, First Vice President, and Yearbook Chair. She also served as President of the Rockwall Retired Teachers Association and was an active member of First United Methodist Church and her Sunday School class. She found joy in life's simple and beautiful moments-playing the piano, tending to her plants, watching cardinals, and building lasting friendships through her book club and sorority.

Above all, Patricia's greatest pride and joy was her family. She deeply loved her son, Kirk Hanes, her grandchildren, Kaylea Hanes and Harley Hanes, and her great-grandchild, Grayson Miller. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the way she made every person she met feel valued and loved.

A viewing and celebration of Patricia's life will be held at First United Methodist Church in Rockwall, Texas, on Monday, October 27, 2025 with visitation beginning at 9:30am.

Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.
