Edna Robin Jones

Edna Robin Jones, age 68, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

It is with deep sadness that the family of Edna "Robin" Jones announces her passing. Affectionately known as Robin, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who brought warmth, grace, and compassion to all who knew her.

She was born on December 31, 1956, in Meridian, Mississippi to Aubert Pace and Jeanette Summerall. Robin was a woman of kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. She married Frank Jones on November 2, 1985, in Gulfport, Mississippi, sharing a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to family.

Robin was a loving and dedicated mother to her children, Kirk, Kyle, Kathleen and Kristine. She instilled in them values of compassion, integrity, and joy. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Caroline and Georgia, treasuring every moment with them.

A faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Rockwall for 35 years, Robin's life was guided by her Christian faith. She was deeply committed to serving others, volunteering her time, and fostering a sense of community wherever she went.

Robin's passions reflected her vibrant spirit. She enjoyed playing tennis, engaging in friendly games of Bunko and Uno, cooking for family and friends, entertaining loved ones, and beginning each day with a peaceful two-mile walk before sunrise. Her home was always filled with warmth, love, and hospitality.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Frank Jones, her children, Kirk and his wife Sadie, Kyle and his wife Bethanne, Kathleen and her husband Blake, and Kristine and her husband Ian; her grandchildren, Caroline and Georgia; her brother, Alan Pace and numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends whose lives she touched.

Robin's legacy is one of love, joy, generosity, and devotion to family and faith. Her memory will continue to inspire all who knew her, and her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
