Age 71
Of Hugo/White Bear Lake
Passed away suddenly on July 24, 2025 less than a day before his sister Joan. Preceded in death by parents Fred & Mary; brother Fred. Survived by wife of 36 years, Grace LaValle Schostag of Hugo; children Rochelle Knotts (Corbyn) & Clayton; grandson James Jay and another boy on the way; sister, Sandy (Tom) Seebold; and many relatives & friends. Jay was a dedicated Forest Lake school bus driver for many years. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 1st at 11:00 am at CHURCH OF ST. MARY OF THE LAKE, 4741 Bald Eagle Avenue with visitation starting at 10:00. Celebration of Life event to follow the Mass from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm Friday, August 1st at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 4738 Bald Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake.
