Henry Cecil Matthew "Boo Boo" Spivey

Mr. Henry Cecil Matthew “Boo Boo” Spivey, age 57, of Axson, Ga. passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at his home in Axson, Ga. following an extended illness.

A native of Atkinson County, Mr. Spivey was born on July 05, 1968, to the late Henry Cecil “Sarg” and Margaret Arnold Spivey. Boo Boo enjoyed his career in computer technology with the Department and Corrections and 911 center for the Alapaha Jurisdiction. In his leisure time, he enjoyed being with his family and friends. He also enjoyed games and other activities and was a caretaker during family needs.

Survivors include:

Wife: Sue Spivey of Ocilla, Ga.

Brother: Chris Spivey and wife Sylvia of Blackshear, Ga.

2 Sisters: Rosa Marie Luke of Pearson, Ga.

Mary Spivey Rodriguez of Leesville, S.C.

Special Cousin: Stormy Arnold of Pearson, Ga.

Nieces and Nephews: Josh Freeman and wife LeAnn, Michael Royals and wife Courtney, Collin Rodriguez, Elizabeth Mancil, Faith Melton and husband Sam, Summer Lauria and husband Brandon, and Benjamin Spivey and wife Taylor

Several great nieces and nephews and other relatives also survive.

There will be a celebration of life for Mr. Spivey announced at a later date.

Memorialization is by cremation.

The Spivey family is thankful for the prayers, support and visitors during this time.
