The book of life for Henry James Stevens, Jr. was opened on July 19, 1973, in Fort Pierce, FL. He was affectionately known as, "Pete," to his family and friends. Pete received his basic education through the local schools of Saint Lucie County. He was an individual that was loved by his family and friends.
On August 9, 2025, Henry Stevens departed this life. He was preceded in death by his sister, Tawana Barron; brother, Herbert "Kojack" Campbell, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Elder Herbert Lurry and Pastor Dorothy Jenkins Lurry; paternal grandparents, Pastor Estella Stevens, Sherman Stevens; aunts, Betty Lurry, Minerva Jean Davis, Earnestine Stevens Keith; uncles, Cleveland Stevens and Homer Pryor.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 25 years: Latasha Stevens; daughters: Precious Stevens, Jasmine Stevens, Harmony Stevens; bonus daughter: Lashonda "Deebo"; sons: Henry Stevens III, Eli Henry Lamar Stevens; father: Henry J. Stevens; mother: Virginia (Morris) Stewart; brothers: Walter Campbell IV, Morris (Lakisha) Stewart, Timothy (Roseanne) Stevens, Stanley Stevens, Henry C. (Jessica) Stevens, Sherman (Leah) Stevens; sisters: Murine (George) Stewart and Sara (William) Grimison; aunts: Ethel Pryor, Viola Bryant, Leatha Stevens, Alice (Pastor Albert) Byrd, Candace Williams, Tricia Williams; uncles: Sherman Stevens, John (Melissa) Stevens, Tony Stevens, Corey Brown; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and sorrowing friends who will miss him dearly.
