HENRY L. WASHINGTON
Henry L. Washington, 68, Columbia, MO, formerly of Centralia, MO passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at his home. He was born November 12, 1956, in Warrenton, MO the son of the late Pearl and Juanita Washington. On August 19, 2000, he was united in marriage to Donna (Beaman) Washington.
In addition to his wife Donna of 24 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons Henry Washington, Jr. of Columbia, MO, Harrison Washington of Centralia, MO and Hamilton Washington of Ashland, MO; one brother Delbert Washington and his wife Marcella of Carrollton, MO’ three grandchildren Caydence Washington, Jensen Washington and Brighton Lee Gatts; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many dear friends.
Henry owned and operated his own sheetrock business for many years. He worked as a freelance camera/utility operator for ESPN. He enjoyed fishing, golf, hunting, all sports especially Kansas City Chiefs football, cookouts with friends and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the Wesley-Smith Chapel in Wright City, Missouri. Interment will be in the Wesley-Smith Chapel Cemetery in Wright City, MO. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO 65240. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wesley-Smith Chapel Cemetery Fund, c/o Oliver Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Centralia, MO 65240.
