Mr. Henry Lee Wedgeworth, age 76, of Summerville, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Wedgeworth was born April 10, 1948, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Robert and Mae Ella Whitstte Wedgeworth. He was a member of the West 5th Street Church of Christ. Mr. Wedgeworth enjoyed fishing, laughing, doing odd jobs, and doing anything outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Christanater Williamson Wedgeworth; sons, Isaiah Williamson, John Henry Wedgeworth, and Glen Wedgeworth; daughters, Carlotta Glynn, Nina (Jonathan ) Johnson, Elaine Hudgins; grandchildren, Marques Wedgeworth, Carterrius Wedgeworth, Henry Wedgeworth, Christopher Wedgeworth, Nathan Wedgeworth, Tashaina Glynn, Blaine Adams, Anteaus Adams, Braxton Wedgeworth, Jamuri Johnson, and Jalyric Johnson; special grandson, Cameron Adams; a host of great-grandchildren; special niece, Chessica Parker Smith; special nephew, Michael Freeman, Tevin Smith, and "Little Bobby, Jr." Wedgeworth.
Funeral services for Mr. Wedgeworth will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 20, 2025, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Min. John Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Summerville Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Wedgeworth will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until the hour of service on Thursday.
