Henry Coby Willis

Henry Coby Willis left this world suddenly on July 30, 2023, at the age of 18. He was a special son, grandson, nephew, cousin, brother, and friend. Henry was the sweetest and kindest soul. Everyone loved him. He was the kind of person you could talk to about anything without judgement. The kind of person you want to keep around forever. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Anne and Dave Klingman and paternal grandfather, Jim Willis.
He is survived by his parents, Laura Herp (Ron) and Steve Willis, his brothers Spencer Willis and Griffin Herp; stepsiblings, Elias, Oskar, and Brierlynn Herp; maternal grandparents, Tom and Sandy Byrd; several loving aunts and uncles; and 20 plus cousins.
Henry graduated from Seneca High School. He also attended John Paul II Academy, Goldsmith Elementary, and Highland Middle School. He enjoyed working at Robbins's Roost Roller Rink and later Graters Ice Cream. He was an artist, an avid gamer, basketball player, roller-skater and was learning guitar. His voice was beautiful if you were lucky enough to hear him sing. We will miss his humor and wit, amazing sense of style, and gentle spirit. Henry was a true original. We have to let him go, but our love for him will never die.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Friday, August 4, 2023, at John Paul II Catholic Church, 3539 Goldsmith Ln. Visitation will be from 9am to 11:00 am at the church.
