Herbert was born December 1, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of the late Willie H. Keller and the late Gussie Bell Keller. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a pilot for Asaka Cement Factory, Lafarge Company and Julius Barger. He enjoyed hiking, riding motorcycles and playing golf. Herbert played guitar and harmonica for fun. He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Diana Ward.
Herbert is survived by his wife of 27 years, Blessing Okoloise Keller of Villa Rica, daughters, Jennifer Burroughs of Raleigh, NC, Alisa Keller of Villa Rica, siblings, David Keller of Woodstock, Jeanine Potter of Fayetteville, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be conducted Friday, March 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 210 Old Center Point Rd., Carrollton, GA. 30117.
Interment will follow at 1:30 PM in Westminster Memorial Gardens, 2090 GA-54, Peachtree City, GA. 30269 with Jeff Potter, Jerry Potter, Jimmy Potter and Isaiah Okoloise serving as pallbearers. Military Honors will be provided US Army Honor Guard.
