Herbert O'Dell Obituary
Herbert F. O'Dell, 94, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away, Monday, September 23, 2024, at his daughter’s home in Mt. Airy.
Born January 29, 1930, in Paterson, New Jersey, he was the son of the late, John O’Dell and Ethyl (ILer ) O’Dell, and the Stepson of Joseph Prentice.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia O'Dell, his daughter, Diane O'Dell and his Stepbrother Joseph Prentice Jr.
Herbert worked for Mack Truck as a Tool Designer until he retired.
He is survived by two daughters, Donna Burger and husband, Rocky, and Maureen O'Dell and husband, Steve Howard; three grandchildren, Jesse, Brett and Drew Burger; three great grandchildren, Harlow Higgins, Ivy LaPole and Brynlee Burger.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Rest Haven Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Frederick County, 7000 Kimmel Rd., Mt. Airy, MD 21771
