Herbert Wyeth Obituary
Herbert A. Wyeth Jr., 94, passed away Friday, December 13, 2024.
He was born February 12, 1930, in Aurora, IL, the son of the late Herbert A. Wyeth Sr. and Marie Ellen (Weeks). Herb served in the US Navy from 1947 to 1953 and was a Police Officer in Aurora Illinois for 6 years.
Herb spent the majority of his career (42 years) working for Country Companies Insurance where he was an agent in Kane County and agency manager in Grundy & LaSalle counties.
Herb was an avid golfer and thoroughly enjoyed spending time manicuring his 2.5-acre yard.
He is survived by his son, Herbert A. (Deb) Wyeth III; daughter, Pam (Doug) Bellm; five grandchildren: Kelly (Don Humphreys) Wyeth, Aaron (Megon Stevens) Wyeth, Jacqueline (Max) Pierazzi, Ashley Bellm, Austin Bellm; and one great-grandson, Luca Pierazzi. He is also survived by brother, Roy (Teresa) Wyeth; sister-in-law, Vernell Wyeth; nieces and nephews, Don Wyeth, Carol (Frank) Schorik, Sue (Gary) Gentry, Jim (Sheila) Wyeth, John (Barb) Wyeth, Linda (Jerry) Albright, Jeff (Beth) Phillip, Jay (Sue) Wyeth, Jamie (Jeni) Wyeth, Joel (Tanya) Wyeth, Jodi (Pete) Montavon, Jeff (Beth) Phillip, Roy (Jen) Wyeth, Justin (Michelle) Wyeth; and many great-nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Herb was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Wyeth; and brothers, Clarence (Mary), Hugh, Henry (Shirley), Charles; and sister, Harriet (Matt) Phillip.
Funeral will be graveside at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, Illinois, Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to , 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431.
