Herman Joseph Lantz, born on August 22, 1941, in Jennings, Louisiana, passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 83.
Herman was a man of simple pleasures. He found joy in fishing and shrimping and had a green thumb and loved gardening in his spare time. He was retired where he worked as an offshore foreman.
Visitation will be held at Miguez Funeral Home on Friday April 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Services will be held the same day in the funeral home chapel, beginning at 1:00 p.m., with Bro. Austin Spell officiating. He will be laid to rest in Bertrand Cemetery.
He is survived by his three daughters, Lisa Duhon, Andrea Vincent, and Rachelle (Garland) Lantz, along with his grandchildren: Alex (Ceaira) Lantz, Jude (Stephanie) Deshazo, Jenna Vincent, Andrew (Kayla) Vincent, Alexis Benoit and Chelsea Vincent; and his great-grandchildren Hayden Miller, Hunter Lantz, and Austin Guidry.
Herman was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Lantz and Luna Crochet Lantz, and his sisters, Luthy Myers and Elta Mae Chaisson.
