Herman Teasley Obituary
Born on August 25, 1939 in Hartwell GA, he was the son of the late Jimmy Austin Teasley II and Ella Kate Eaves Teasley Ethridge. Mr. Teasley was a retired maintenance technician for BASF-Anderson Plant and a member of the Sardis Baptist Church. He was a former Deacon and member of Oak Bower Baptist Church. He loved rabbit hunting, raising chickens and rabbits. He was also known for growing tomatoes and selling them. Mr. Teasley was a GA Army National Guard Veteran.
Survivors include his two daughters: Vicki Hilley (Ted) and Pam Isbell (Richard) all of Hartwell; two grandchildren: Sam Hilley and Erin Isbell; one half-brother: Edward Ethridge (Peggy) of Hartwell and one brother-in-law: Tommy Craft of Hartwell.
Mr. Teasley was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Marie Singleton Teasley; a brother: Jimmy A. Teasley; a sister: Etta Mae Craft and his step-father: Willie Elton Ethridge.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 8, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Other times the family will be at the home of Richard and Pam Isbell.
Funeral services for Mr. Herman Teasley will be Monday, December 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Rev. Ken Brewer officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sardis Baptist Church, 4359 Anderson Hwy., Hartwell, GA 30643.
The Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell is assisting the family with all of the arrangements.
