Herman Lee Thomas was born on April 5, 1956, to Earnestine Boone (Thomas) and Eshom Thomas Sr. in Hollandale, Mississippi. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. He served as a military policeman and was recognized as an expert marksman during his years of service. He settled in his boyhood home of Elyria, Ohio, where he gave his life to Christ. He became an active member of the Callout of the Almighty God Church in Elyria. He departed this life on May 6, 2025, in El Dorado, Arkansas.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother Earnestine Boone. Four brothers; Eshom Thomas Jr. (Shirley) of El Dorado, AR, Robert Thomas of Bossier City, LA, Rick Thomas (Lakisha) of Republic of Panama, Jaymes Thomas of El Dorado, AR. Four sisters; Joanne Miller of El Dorado, AR, Annette Thomas of Little Rock, AR, Barabara Thomas of Maumelle, AR, and Veronica Boone-Lewis (Vanessa) of Benton, AR.
One son Cedric Donaldson of Portsmouth, Virginia, Two daughters; Chinea Inman of Elyria, Ohio and Latashi Thomas of Cleveland, Ohio.
Two stepbrothers; Wendell Boone of Little Rock, AR and Charles Davis, of El Dorado, AR and Bill Ramey from Smackover, AR. Three stepsisters; Betty Johnson (Charles) of Rialto, CA, Mildred Gene Johnson and Mirian Gordon both of Rockford, IL. Also, a special niece that he loved like a daughter Celestine Thomas of Smackover, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family.
He was proceeded in death by his Father Eshom Thomas Sr., his stepfather A.G. "Uncle Red" Boone, and his nephews Ricky T. Thomas and Marcus D. Thomas.
