Hermelinda Ochoa, 86, a resident of Silver City, NM, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 19, 2024 in El Paso, TX. She was born on April 13, 1938 to her parents, Pedro and Luzelena (Martinez) Alonzo in Caborca, Sonora, Mexico.
Hermelinda was a loving mother and devoted housewife. She was a giving person; if you were hungry, she always fed you and if you needed a place to stay, she would house you. If you wanted to know how to cook something, she would teach you how to make it. She was a very good conversationalist and spent lots of time at Walmart. Everyone know her – she was a great person.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dora Ochoa of Silver City, NM and Patricia Graziano of Hurley, NM; her brother Francisco Alonzo (Teresa) of Caborca, Mexico and her sister Dora Luz Montijo of Ensenada, Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Antonio Ochoa.
She will be laid to rest with her love, Antonio, at Fort Bayard National Cemetery.
Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory. Arrangements are with Terrazas Funeral Chapels and Crematory "Trust care for the ones you love" ~575-537-0777. To send condolences, visit www.terrazas funeralchapel.com.
