A celebration of Mrs. Stokes' life will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at First Baptist Missionary Church, 520 N 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC 28401.
Her love and memories will remain in the hearts of her children, Joan Hall (Preston) of Rosehill, Erainia Brown of Castle Hayne, Asonia S. Gordon of Wilmington, Rosan Jefferson (Willie, Sr.) of Gulfport, MS, James M. Stokes, Jr. (Dorothy) of Castle Hayne, Rhonda Nixon (Matthew) of Castle Hayne, Daniel C. Stokes (Eartha) of Pembroke Pines, FL, Jeraldine E. Holliday (Willie) of Castle Hayne and Kenneth D. Stokes (Shelby) of Shallotte, 19 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren, 39 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
