Herschel Lee Vaughn

Herschel Lee Vaughn, 85, of Clinton, Missouri passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City. He was born March 15, 1940 in Wyoming, the son of Arthur Vaughn and Betty Jane (Winkel) Vaughn.
Herschel worked for Schreibers for over 35 years, retiring in 2005. He also farmed his entire life. Farming was his passion. He loved his farm.
He married Gail R. Snider on August 27, 1994 in Clinton, MO. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors are three step-daughters, Gala Palmgren (Donnie), Clinton, MO, Sherri Ellis (Bill), Clinton, Iowa and Dana Richardson, Ft. Worth, Texas; six grandchildren, Brittlen Richardson, Hunter Richardson, Greyson Holliday, Jesse Camden, Seth Switzer and Joshua Coffey; two brothers, Russell Vaughn, Blue Springs, MO and Larry Vaughn, Leeton, MO; one sister, Brenda, Dallas, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Viola in 1992; his parents; two step-sons, Danny Meads and Shane Morgan; and one step-granddaughter, Whitney Plumlee.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., just prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery. Condolences may be left online at www.bradleyhadley.com.
