Hester Roberta Mashburn

1934 - 2026

Hester Roberta Conley Mashburn, 91 of the Anderson Creek community in Robbinsville, N.C., passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026.
She was born to the late Clyde and Mary Elizabeth Conley.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Mashburn; two sons, Lindell Howard Hensley and Daniel Thomas Debty; one daughter, Amanda Roberta Simonds; one granddaughter, Billie Jo Debty Teffeteller, one infant great-great grandson, Skyler Edward Martin; her five brothers: William Ernest Conley, Billy James Conley, Claude Vernon Conley, Douglas McCarthy Conley and Charles Edward Conley; and three sisters: Virginia Daisy Conley Jennings, Brenda Sue Floyd and Judy Elizabeth Conley.
Roberta was a woman of great strength; she loved her family and cared for many.
Those left to cherish her memory are one son, Joseph Thomas Debty; three daughters: Alice Faye Hensley, Edith Marie Hensley and Elizabeth Pauline Tipton; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, at the Townson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Patrick O'Dell will officiate.
Burial will follow the service at Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m., at the chapel, prior to the service.
