Hieu Nguyen Obituary
Hieu Thi Nguyen passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday, June 26, 2025 at her family residence in Bowie, Maryland. Hieu was born on July 17, 1938 in Hue, Vietnam. She is survived by two sons, Hung Van Nguyen and Hai Van Nguyen; one daughter, Thuy Phuong Thi Nguyen; four grandsons, Anthony Van Nguyen, Anderson Van Nguyen, Alexander Van Nguyen, and Jefflincoln Le Nguyen; nine granddaughters, including Julie Ta, Tuyen Thanh Thi Pham, Vivian Nguyen, and Harley Nguyen; and five great-grandchildren.
Hieu dedicated her entire life to her family, tirelessly working to supporting her children as they grew up in Vietnam. After immigrating to the United States with her sons in 1989, she spent her days lovingly watching over her grandchildren. She loved gardening, visiting the beach, and spending time with her family and friends. Hieu was a joy to be around, spreading laughter and light wherever she went.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 9 AM to 1 PM at Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, 1411 Annapolis Rd, Odenton, MD 21113.
