Hilda Bolden Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Riverside Funeral Home - Albuquerque on Feb. 15, 2026.
Never goodbye, only see you later: Hilda Bolden, 76, of Albuquerque, NM Hilda Bolden, 76, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, with her husband by her side and many family members present in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born June 7, 1949, in Germany, she shared 44 loving years of marriage with her husband, Ernest Bolden, and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grand-mother. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Requa, granddaughters Michelle Requa and Audrianna Mize, and son Thomas Stock. She is survived by her children Jeannie Requa, Barbara Requa, Charles Requa, Kathleen Requa, Ronnie Requa, Patricia Requa, Lisa Bolden, and Marcus Bolden; her grandchildren Nathan, Steven, Alexander, Isaiah, Christopher Richard Jr., Joseph, William, Danielle, Mark Jr., Jeremiah, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth, Destiny, Autumn, Matthew, Mariah, and step-granddaughter Natasha, and her great-grandchildren Zayden, Little Christopher, Mylah, and William. She also leaves behind extended family members, including Ashley, Lester, Saidy, Edward, Sandy, and many other dear friends and family. Hilda will be remembered for her joyful spirit, warm heart, and deep love for her family. She also cherished family trips to Santa Rosa, creating lasting memories with her grandchildren she held dear to her heart. I like to live in a little town where the trees meet across the street, where you wave your hand and say hello to everyone you meet. I like to stand for a moment outside the grocery store, listening to the friendly gospel with the folks that live next door. For life is so invoked, I care no more to roam, because every house, little house, is a house, it's home. - from the love of a Black man
