Hilda B. Delaney, 96, Williamsport passed away at WeCare at Sycamore on Friday, September 19, 2025.

Hilda was born in Williamsport on February 26, 1929, a daughter of Henry S. and Loretta W. (Stadler) Geiger.

She was a graduate of the former St. Mary's High School; she went on to work at Coca-Cola and retired from the financial office of Loyalsock Twp. School District. A member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, she was very active with the activities committee, volunteering for the carnival and the ham dinner. In addition to her volunteering she enjoyed gardening, coin collecting and bowling.

Her husband of 53 years, Milford L. "Bud" Delaney, died September 25, 2006.

Surviving are their three children and their families; Sandra R. (Thomas) Sullivan, David V. (Judie) Delaney both of Williamsport and James J. (Cindy) Delaney of South Carolina; grandchildren, Thomas J. (Lisa) Sullivan, Jennifer (Brandon) Howe, Patricia I. Sullivan (Jack Shaffer), Chad D. (Brittany) Delaney, Joshua J. (Carla) Delaney, and Christopher M. (Rhonda) Delaney; great grandchildren, Brennan, Conner, Bryant, Taylor, Spencer and Nathan Sullivan, Brent, Tyler, and Julia Howe, John, Hailey, Jade and Xavier Shaffer , Griffin Delaney, Chloe and Jacob Delaney, Caleb and Landen Delaney; and sisters, Ann L. Allison and Christine D. Rimer.

In addition to her parents and her husband; brothers, Victor H. Geiger, Gerald J. Geiger and sisters, Irene L. Howlett, M. Sylvia Daniels and Rose H. Weber preceded her in death.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday September 25, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm at Crouse Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 133 E. 3rd St., Williamsport.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am, Friday, September 26, 2025 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd. Williamsport, burial will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully suggest memorial in Hilda's name may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
