Mrs. Hilda Jane Forsythe, age 83 of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away from this life on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Maple Health Care Center, in Jackson. Funeral services for Mrs. Forsythe will be conducted on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 12PM in the Dyer chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Hemann officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Trenton, TN.
She was born February 1, 1942, in Gumwoods, TN (Trenton); the daughter of the late Corlas & Mary Inez Pope Freeze. Jane retired from West TN Health Care, better known as Gibson General Hospital, as an Admission Specialist. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dyer and enjoyed spending time with her family. Jane and her husband, Travis Eugene Forsythe, recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 1st.
Mrs. Forsythe is survived by loving husband, Travis Eugene Forsythe; two children, Beth Koffman (Barry), Janie Replogle (Robert); two stepchildren, Gina Scavone (Ed), Lisa Lavender (Jim); nine grandchildren, Emma Koffman-Garber (Michael), Eli Koffman, Amber Barbour (Tyler), Shelby Replogle, Jordan Replogle (Kaylen), Camille Bosilovoitz (Steve), Andrew Scavone, Nathan Lavender (Emma), Caleb Lavender; and great-grandchild, Saige Lavender. She was preceded in death by her brother, JB Freeze; and her parents, Corlas & Mary Freeze.
The family will receive friends from 10AM until service time, at the Dyer chapel on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Karnes & Son Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Hilda Jane Forsythe.
