Lance Arlynn Forsythe

Lance Arlynn Forsythe, 53, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on October 28, 2025, after a long battle with severe health problems. A memorial visitation for Lance will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Agape Funeral Chapel, 6625 W. 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79407.
Lance was born on July 1, 1972, in Tulia, TX to Larry and Nancy Forsythe. Around age 6, Lance's father relocated the family to Mount Airy, MD where Lance was primarily raised. He graduated from Linganore High School in 1990. Following his graduation, he moved back to Texas where he would then be blessed with his four children. Lance loved all things that came with an adrenaline rush. He loved to go camping. He enjoyed the time he had with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, L.A. & Murl Forsythe, his maternal grandparents, Loy and Frances Pyeatt, his uncle, Jerry Forsythe, and his aunt, Dixie Parks.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Nancy Forsythe, of Lubbock, TX. His four children, Amanda Forsythe, daughter, and her spouse Tim of Millsboro, MD; Shelbee Forsythe, daughter, and her spouse Kurt of Shallowater, TX; L. Andrew Forsythe, son, of Clinton, MD; and Brystol Forsythe, daughter, of Lubbock, TX; his grandchildren, Ryleigh Jacobson, Preslee Forsythe, Logan Jacobson, and Parkner Forkner, His older brother, Allen Forsythe and spouse Anne of Clarksville, TN, and his nieces and nephews; Summer Forsythe, Kieran Forsythe, Isabella Forsythe, A.J. Forsythe, and Andrew Forsythe.
