Hilda Lum Hebert

Hilda Marie Lum Hebert, age 86 and lifelong resident of Crossett, AR, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 while surrounded by her family. She was born on January 22, 1939 to John Wesley Lum and Eva Lillie Hebert Lum. She was a member of Rolfe Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

Hilda was a constant servant to others, often showing her love with a cooked meal. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceding her in death are her parents, John and Eva Lum; her husband of sixty years, Harold R. Hebert (2023) and two brothers, Hugh Lum and Glenn Lum.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Sandy Smaltz (Matthew) of Big Rapids, MI and Keri Loy (Jeff) of Woodworth, LA; two sons, David Hebert of Crossett, AR and Keith Hebert (Tina) of Memphis, TN; seven grandchildren, Jennifer (Nick), Jonathan (Kate), Sean, Kristin (Shane), Christopher (Alex), Wayne and Sarah; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Douglas Lum (Ruth) of Anderson, IN and Phillip Lum (Kaye) of Crossett, AR; three sisters, Carolyn Givens and Janette Fish, both of Crossett, AR and Hazel Welch of Olla, LA along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A Memorial Service will begin at 10:00 A.M. at Rolfe Chapel FBC in Crossett, AR on Wednesday, May 28th with Bro. Dale Doss officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Jones Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 27th.
