Hilda M. Willenborg passed away on Tuesday December 23, 2025 at age 91, surrounded by her two sons. Hilda was the beloved wife of John C. Willenborg for 69 years.
Hilda was the loving mother of two sons, Bob and Mike, daughter-in-law, Kathleen and two grandchildren, Michael and Samantha.
Member of All Saints Church for 47 years.
She loved cooking, baking pies and cakes, vegetable and flower gardening.
Hilda excelled at dog obedience training of Shelties / Shetland Sheepdogs and won numerous awards, in various states, for show and obedience training.
Involved in volunteer work at St. John’s the Evangelist Grade School and Moeller High School.
Once her husband, John, retired they loved to travel with other seniors from the Blue Ash Senior Center. They also traveled internationally to Germany, Switzerland, Austria and went through the Panama Canal.
A visitation will be held on Friday January 2, 2026 from 9:00am – 10:00am at Gilligan Funeral Home, 8225 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236, followed by a Catholic Mass at All Saints Church and to Gate of Heaven cemetery.
