Hildegard E Bembry

Hildegard E. Bembry, age 86, of Pemberton, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Mrs. Bembry was born and raised in Germany and resided in various locations within the US before moving to Pemberton. Hildegard worked for the Pemberton School district, where she was seen as the school grandmom and treated all the students as if they were her own grandchildren. In her leisure time, she enjoyed taking long walks, tending to her yard, and finding treasures at local shops. Most of all, however, she cherished the time spent with family and friends and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Hildegard was predeceased by her husband, Joseph W. Bembry, in 2002. She is survived by her sons, Michael Bembry and Joseph Bembry (Natalie); grandchildren, Malik Johnson, James Barota Bembry, Sarah Bembry, and Madison Bembry; sister, Gertrud Nickel; and a host of other family members in both Germany and the United States.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home, 371 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ. Final disposition will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
