Kathleen A Phelps

Kathleen A. Phelps, 93, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025, at Virtual Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ.
Kathleen's journey through life was shared with her loving husband of 73 years, Hilton Ray Phelps. Together, they built a legacy of love and commitment that was evident in every aspect of their lives. Kathleen was a devoted mother to her two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Nancy Phelps, and Timothy and Sharon Phelps. She took immense pride in her role as a grandmother to Justin, Jesse, TJ, Jennifer, and Randie, and as a great-grandmother to Sevaughn, Chase, Quinn, Jane, Nathan, and Jake. Her nephew, Gaetan Panarello, also held a special place in her heart. She was predeceased by her siblings, Frances, Gaetan, and John.
Professionally, Kathleen was a respected employee at Pathmark Supermarket in Lawnside, NJ.
Kathleen's interests were as rich and varied as her life. An accomplished organist, she found joy in music, both playing and listening. Her hands were rarely still, as she expressed her creativity through the art of crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that became treasured gifts for family and friends. A culinary enthusiast, Kathleen's cooking brought people together. She also had a passion for shell collecting, a hobby that complemented her love for the serene beaches of Key West, FL, where she spent many happy moments with Hilton.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 10-11AM, at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle, NJ. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11AM, at the church.
Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton, NJ.
