Hilton Daniel "Dan" Hudspeth, age 86, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 26, 2025.

Dan lived a life marked by faith, service, and love. A devoted follower of Christ, he spent his days joyfully serving others through his church and volunteering in the Prairie Grove community. He had a gentle spirit, a giving heart, and a steadfast devotion to his family and friends.

He was a proud husband to Wylene, his loving wife of eight years, and a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His legacy of faith, integrity, and kindness will live on in the lives of those he touched.

Born in Aspermont, Texas, Dan was an only child who moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas, during his early school years. He grew up in the heart of Northwest Arkansas and made it his lifelong home. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Reserve and later built a successful career in banking, first with First National Bank of Fayetteville and later with the Bank of Fayetteville. He was known not just for his professional expertise, but for his sincerity, work ethic, and ability to connect with others.

Dan was never happier than when surrounded by his loved ones-whether gathered around the table for a family meal, lending a helping hand to a neighbor, or sharing stories and laughter with longtime friends. His quiet strength, humility, and unwavering moral compass made him a steady presence in the lives of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilton and Dutch Hudspeth, and his beloved wife of 55 years, Pat Hudspeth. Their enduring love and partnership were a shining example to their children and grandchildren.

Dan is survived by his wife, Wylene Hudspeth; his son, Mike Hudspeth, and daughter-in-law, Donna, of Springdale; his daughters, Kathy Robinson of Fayetteville and Shelley Hudspeth of Springdale; his cherished grandchildren, Hayden Hudspeth (and wife, Hope) of Prairie Grove, Harrison Hudspeth (and wife, Liberty) of Farmington, and Hayes Robinson of Fayetteville; and his three treasured great-grandchildren, Liam, Stetson, and Lucy Hudspeth.

A private family graveside service will be held at Prairie Grove Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, where Dan will be laid to rest among loved ones and the community he served so faithfully.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial donations in Dan's honor to:
Upstart Thrift Store, 235 E. Main St. Farmington, Arkansas 72730

Dan's life was a quiet testimony to the power of faith, family, and love. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
