Hollie Ann Lawson, 34, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday January 17, 2024 in South Bend, IN.
She was born January 19, 1989 in South Bend, IN, the daughter of Bill Lorence and Stacy (Lawson) Schmitz.
A lifelong resident of the area, Hollie really loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her daughters. She was very fashion conscious and particular about her appearance, and enjoyed shopping for the latest clothes and makeup. Hollie enjoyed watching movies, going to the beach, fishing and tent camping. She was a loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.
Hollie is survived by her father, Bill Lorence; step-father, Eric Schmitz of Valparaiso, IN; three daughters, Madison Lawson-Clemons of La Porte, IN, Julia Brown of La Porte, IN, Sammi Brown of Valparaiso, IN; her significant other, Brett Pumroy of La Porte, IN; her Aunt Tracy Gearhart and Uncle Francisco Avila of La Porte, IN; cousin, Corey Gearhart; ex-husband and friend, Zack Joseph.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Stacy Schmitz (2016) and her cousins, Joshua and Simona Gearhart.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. The family will host a gathering of family and friends for a viewing on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will take place.
