We knew the Pennocks socially, being one of four couples who gathered for homemade soup once a month on a rotating basis. I know she had a remarkable professional career, was a loving and supportive spouse, and was a prodigious witness to her faith. Yet I was always impressed by her comprehensive knowledge of practically everything, and her wit. In a battle of wits, you were always at a disadvantage. May she and Bob enliven the hereafter. Sincere condolences to the family; Holly was a gift to us.

Extending my deepest sympathy to Holly's loved ones. I worked with her several years ago during her tenure as Director of the College in the High School program at HVCC. She was one of the kindest and most giving people I've ever known. When I had my first child, she made him several lovely hand embroidered keepsakes that I have treasured for almost 23 years. Praying for comfort as your family navigates life without this amazing woman.

I met Holly through my mom who was a close friend of Holly's in the choir at Trinity, Albany. I've enjoyed my friendship with Holly since then and always felt a closeness to her as she was so close to my mom. After more than 40 years as organist at other churches in the area I was fortunate to rejoin the choir at Trinity and become the organist. Seeing Holly and Bob every Sunday at church was beautiful. I'll never forget her kind words of love and friendship. Holly took a picture of me at the organ at my last Sunday at Trinity in 2012 and it still hangs on the wall in our home in Phoenix, AZ. It is wonderful to be reminded of Trinity and Holly every time I look upon that framed photo. Much love to the family now and always. God has blessed you all with this beautiful woman.

My prayers and love go out to Jessica and David who were members of my youth group at the Trinity United Methodist Church.
The family was involved throughout the church program. All those who came in contact with the family will always remember the happiness they gave us.
God Bless, Pastor Marvin Batcher (Mr B)
