Holly Tingstrom Obituary
Holly was born in Oceanside, CA to Elton and Genivieve Tingstrom. She moved to Alaska in 1976 and was a hardworking employee of Fred Meyer.
Holly's greatest joy came from spending time with Kahleah, her only granddaughter, her family and friends. Her Christmas cookies were legendary and eagerly anticipated by family and friends alike. She enjoyed time spent in her garden, fishing, traveling and reading. Holly had a ready smile for everyone, and her dinner table was always open to all. She truly had a heart of gold and hands always busy in the service of others.
Holly leaves her daughter Genelle Todd and granddaughter Kahleah Butters of Homer, AK, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and friends in and out of Alaska. She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Susan, Linda and David.

I have known Holly since 1977 had nothing but love her since. We meet when she worked as a waitress at Big boys . We have been friends forever, So Sorry for your loss Nellie If you need anything at all please let me know,

Genelle, I am proud to say she was my very good friend. She was part of our family well before you were born. Yes she was always there to help us when we needed her most. Her and your generosity was like an angel opening up her home to us when John was in the hospital for months. My gradatie to her and you will never demi diminish. I am heartbroken to know we won't be sitting with a cup of coffee and sharing our lives with each other. I hope to see you when I'm up there in September. You are the strong loving women you are because of her.

I worked with Holly in 1979 at the Northern lights Fred Meyer, she was a manager in the HIC while I worked in the variety stock room, unloading trucks and separating incoming merchandise. I remember her as always very friendly, energetic and always seemed to have a smile on her face! And yes, as her obituary stated she was a hard worker indeed! Rest easy Holly, God bless you! Paul.
