Homer Stewart Obituary

Born May 17, 1951, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he was the son of the late Homer M. Stewart Sr. and Ella Mae (Litchfield) Stewart.
He was retired from Planck Trucking and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
On August 30, 1969, he married Lorene (Hubbard) Stewart, who passed away February 12, 2021.
Survivors include: 4 Sons: Joseph Stewart of Scottsburg; Jeffrey Stewart, James (Rebecca) Stewart and Jason (Carolyn) Stewart, all of Salem; 2 Brothers: Ross Stewart of Medora and Darrell Billy Stewart of Salem; 1 Sister: Janetta Underwood of Salem; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Ella Mae Stewart, wife; Lorene Stewart, 1 sister; Sheila Tharp and 2 brothers Ronnie Stewart and Guy Lynn Stewart.
Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Olive Branch Cemetery.
Visitation: 11 am until the time of the service on Monday.
