Hope Akers Obituary
Beanie left us far too early but left a lasting impact on all those who loved her and will miss her dearly. Beanie had begun rolling over and loved blowing raspberries at her daddy. She could recognize the Law & Order theme song and like Doggyland music. She was always smiling and was starting to show her true personality.
Beanie is survived by her parents, Scott and Vanessa; grandparents, Christyal Bellville, Jessica Carlson, and Stephan Carlson, all of Sault Ste. Marie; great-great-grandma Darlene Bellville of Ludington, Michigan; papa, Rick Byard of Sault Ste. Marie; aunts, Marie Sayles, Abby Bellville, Ella Bellville, Lily Sayles, Zoey Akers, Haley Cooper, Kylie Cooper, and Paige Akers; uncles, Brendan Brock, Noah McCory, Kevin Akers, and Justin Akers; and her fur-siblings, Lucy, Jaxs, Zero, Burks, and Boston.
Beanie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Nicholas Sayles; papa, Frederick Bellville Jr.; grandma, Nancy Carlson; uncle, Joseph Ellison; and cousin, Melonie Mounts.
A Pipe Ceremony will begin on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, 7:00 PM at the Niigaanaagiizhik Cultural Center at 11 Ice Circle Chi Mukwa, Sault Ste. Marie. Visitation will follow until the Traditional Ceremony on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 12:00 Noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Hope's memory to the Chippewa County Animal Shelter, 3660 S Mackinac Trail, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783.
Family Life Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be left to the family at www.familylifefh.com.
