Hope Gwendolyn Danoff (nee Fox), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend passed away on Oct. 10, 2025, at the age of 69; a beautiful soul gone too soon. Hope married the love of her life, Dr. David Danoff, and together they shared 39 beautiful years of marriage. She was the heart of their family with her deep, unwavering love and strength. A devoted mother to Maxwell Roland and Alexandra Emily and an adoring grandmother, "Safta", to Lavi. Hope cherished being surrounded by the people she loved, and she always made sure they knew how much they meant to her.
Hope was born on Jan. 6, 1956, in Cheltenham, PA to the late Lois Fox Blofstein and Morris Fox. The middle child of 3 daughters, she leaves behind her sisters, Jamie Bock and Jessica Buchbinder (Carl), along with nieces and nephew.
From a young age, Hope was extremely courageous and always followed her dreams. She traveled across the country to attend the University of Oregon, where she studied recreational therapy and social work. She taught art, dance, and drama to individuals with mental disabilities and those recovering from addiction. After earning her degree, Hope moved to Boston, and later Georgia, but she always had a special love for Philadelphia and so she returned home. Hope became a media personality and appeared on QVC for over 10 years. She was an avid home cook who loved to entertain, a passion that inspired her to publish a cookbook, "Impress for Less". More recently Hope established a non-profit organization, "Building Bridges with Hope". She worked tirelessly, with deep conviction and compassion, to help those in need. Even in life's most challenging moments, Hope remained a beacon of positivity and resilience. Her radiant smile, vibrant personality, kind heart, generosity, and unwavering faith brought peace and joy to those she met.
Hope's legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched. She had a special gift of making life more beautiful. Her family and friends will forever carry her love in their hearts.
