Born in Jerusalem on January 17, 1945, Hovnan Kaloustian was the youngest son of Sarkis and Esther Kaloustian. In March 1964, he moved to Chicago, Illinois, before settling in San Diego, California, in 1978, where he lived out the remainder of his life.
Hovnan, passed away on August 22, 2025, at the age of 80.
He was a quiet man who kept to himself, and was a gentle soul. He retired at the age of 54, enjoying a peaceful life. He is survived by his siblings, Vahan, Azniv, Elizabeth, and Hasmik, as well as many loving nephews and nieces.
Hovnan was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May God rest his eternal soul.
