Howard Ray Bolin

Howard Ray Bolin 81, of Wauchula, Florida passed away on November 16, 2021, at his daughter's home surrounded by his loving family. Howard was born on January 15, 1940, in Aiken, South Carolina to Allen and Leola Bolin. He was a resident of Hardee County for most of his life. Howard was a devoted father, son and brother, and Christian by faith. Howard's life was full of many accomplishments. He proudly served our country as a United States Army 82nd Airborne Paratrooper. He owned TriCounty Painting and was co-owner of Bolin's Decorating Center in Wauchula. After retiring at 62 he went on to own and build many duplexes that have housed many people through the years. He took time to enjoy life building and driving many types of race vehicles and is still the current record holder for The National 2 Wheel Drive Mud Drags. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. However, his greatest joy in life was his daughters, granddaughters, grandsons, and his great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents Allen and Leola Bolin; and brothers Benson Bolin and Clarence Bolin. Howard is survived by daughters Celena Goode (Stan) of Wauchula, Fl, and Lisa Bolin of Wauchula, Fl.; grandchildren Amanda Bolin-Goode, Paige Congleton (Trent Childress), Ty Goode, Kayla Robbins, Jon Hendry (Nicole), and Jerrod Hendry (Shannon); great-grandchildren Bradyn, Danielle and Emma Congleton, Bennett and Clayton Childress, Hayden, Hoyt, Rylan, and Layne Hendry, and Michael Barber. A visitation will be held at First Christian Church of Wauchula on Friday, November 19, 2021, 10:00 A.M. followed by Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Wendell Smith officiating.
