Howard "Howie" David Boor Jr, 39, passed away Dec. 3, 2025, as the result of an accident on Stocker Ridge Rd, Newcomerstown, OH. He was born Sept. 19, 1986, to Bonnie (Joe) Calhoun and Howard (Rose) Boor.

Howard was a dedicated Calendar Operator at SIMONA Boltaron since May 2022. He always brought warmth, creativity and joyful spirit to the workplace.

Howard was a kind, caring man who had a big humble heart, caring for all the children in the world. Each Christmas he would dress as Santa and deliver presents to children around town. He took jokes to the next level and was still loved by all who met him.

Howard loved life and his family. He made everyone smile, laugh, and feel valued. Howard was enriched by his friendships and the love he held for his wife, Laytoya, whom he married on July 26, 2014. He And Laytoya shared many years of love & laughter.

Howard was preceded in death by stepbrother Garry (Kimberly) Daniels. He leaves behind his loving wife of 15 years, Laytoya Boor; daughters Joselynn Boor and Alyssa Pippin; sisters Jessica (Corey) Rankin, Gwendolyn (David) Blackwell, Salena (James) Foster and Amanda (Mark) Hutton; stepsister Dawn (Matt) Frizzell; mother-in-law Dyan Webb.

Howard is also survived by a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his longtime best friend Travis Shalosky.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2 p.m. at David Barber Civic Center in Newcomerstown, OH and again on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 664 John St, Coshocton, OH
